The Lost Treasure is a culmination of short stories that highlight some
of the overlooked issues in our community through the lives of contemporary
Muslim youth. This work is an honest presentation of the trials that our
youth are attempting to overcome, with the objective of touching the heart
and sparking discussion.
Passages from the book:
This crime has been committed before by millions of women around the globe,
and will continue to be committed even after this tale is told. Here is
a short story of two friends, I shall name them Iman and Mona. Both extreme
versions of characteristics we both cherish and detest in this world.
This is how they each lost a treasure. Mona will narrate the tale.
